5th treatment

Treatment #5 - Deecember 27, 2007. The patient arrived and we took her picture immediately because last week I forgot until after the treatment and she was very red after the lightening peel with lactic acid and kojac acid.

As you can see from the picture the redness has subsided considerably and the itching and redness around the ears, jaw and face have gone down. The Chinese herbs have helped with the redness and inflammation along with her cutting out all refined carbohydrates, smoking, and sodas from her diet. She also has been eating the detox soup once a day that has the bitter melon and mung beans to help remove heat from the body.

The break-out on the right side of the nose was crusty and dark for about 3 months. It finally came to a head and lots of pus was drained out of it. The breakouts are different from before. Instead of them itching turning red then purple and then dark, they like a normal pimple. The have a little bit of pus. They drain and then they clear up and do not leave a mark.

Stress is minimal.

Sleep is ok

Exercise still losing her breath after exersion.

Menses- She had just started her period and she did not have any cramping or pain. She usually is in bed the first few days and then she will feel like getting up. This time the period was fine and she did not have to take anything for the pain and she wasn't in bed. She was really shocked and happy about that because she has always had bad periods.

Headaches- none

Mood- good

Weight loss- 5 more pounds

tongue- red little yellow coating in the back, scallopped

pulse- thready, wiry

Assessment- Liver, lung, and kidney yin deficiency with heat. Spleen qi deficiency causing damp heat.

Points- Liver 3, 5, 8, Spleen 4,6, 8,9,10, Pericardium 6, Stomach 36, 44, Kidney 3, 6, 7, Lung 9,7,5, Du 20, Yintang, Gallbladder 2, 14, 34, 41, Small intestine 19, Triple heater 5, 17, 21

Nourish yin of liver, lung and kidney, tonify spleen, drain dampness and heat.

This week I gave her 3 bottle of homeopathic drops of Guna cell, matrix, and kidney. I also gave her a homeopathic injection of cutis compostitum which is for acne and chronic skin issue.

She stayed on the same herbal formula for this week.
